SWIFT Europe has successfully delivered its largest event to date, welcoming 215 registered delegates for the first-ever equipment-focused edition held in Europe.
Hosted at the London Marriott Heathrow Hotel 22-23 April 2026, this year’s event combined a busy conference programme with a sold-out exhibition, creating a dynamic environment for industry professionals. The energy extended beyond the conference halls, with live equipment demonstrations taking place at the Aeromag Facility at Heathrow, offering delegates a rare opportunity to see the latest innovations in action.
Innovation and practical application were at the forefront, with leading manufacturers including Aebi Schmidt, Aeromag, MOOG, Ascento, AeroPless, Moventor and headline sponsor Bucher, showcasing cutting-edge equipment and technology. The hands-on displays and live demonstrations proved to be a highlight, reinforcing SWIFT’s commitment to bridging the gap between technology providers and operational teams.
At the core of the event was the conference programme – developed ‘for airports, by airports.’ Curated by an expert committee, the sessions focused on real-world operational challenges and future industry demands. Over two days, delegates participated in peer-led discussions, exchanged lessons learned, and explored new approaches to improving efficiency, safety, and sustainability across airside operations.
SWIFT’s distinctive peer-led format continues to ensure highly relevant content, encouraging open dialogue and meaningful knowledge sharing between frontline professionals and technology developers.
Looking ahead, preparations are already underway for the next events. Registration is now open for SWIFT ’26 in Edmonton, while SWIFT Europe will return to London from April 20–22, 2027, with an exciting new format set to be unveiled.
